What are your options?

No two financial situations are the same – we each have different wants, needs, and goals.

Do-It-Yourself

Approximately 50% of Americans don’t pay off their credit card balances every month. Half of credit holders are paying interest to banks. 70% of people spend more than they make and 76% are living paycheck to paycheck. If you’re making minimum payments on your credit cards, it could take you 20 years or more to get out of debt. You could end up paying back 2-3 times your principal balance.

Credit Counseling

Credit Counseling and Debt Management are an effective way to get out of debt if you can continue making minimum payments, have high interest rates (over 15%), and are fewer than 6 months behind on payments. If you have $3,000 of credit card debt or more and would like to consolidate all of your unsecured payments into one low monthly payment every month, then a Credit Counseling Plan might be best suited for you. Most people can get out of debt in 4-5 years and pay around 9% interest depending on your creditors.

Debt Settlement & Negotiation

Most creditors will settle an account for around 40-50% of what you owe. This is the cheapest and fastest way to get out of debt without filing a Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. If you owe more than $15,000 in credit card debt, personal loans, medical bills, private student loans, or have had your car repossessed, and you can afford around half of what you’re currently paying, then this option might be best suited for you.

Bankruptcy

There are over one million bankruptcies each year. Most people use bankruptcy as a last resort. A bankruptcy is a matter of public record and can follow you around for the rest of your life. Call us first before you file for Bankruptcy to learn about other debt relief strategies.
